This is a very large sapphire weighing in at 2.3 carats. The color of this sapphire and band are unique. The band is made using the fused soldering technique. That's when there is no traditional soldering used in the making of the band. I take small pieces of silver and melt them so the fuse together which gives it a very organic look.
